A system for delivering products in optimum ripened condition

Various types of products such as fruits and vegetables are grown for consumption throughout the world. Condition for these products changes as time progresses. The products need to be presented to customers in optimum condition failing which it is difficult to sell the products.

A recently published patent application discloses a ripening schedule for the ripening of products according to a target shipping date at which the products will be reaching the customers or retail stores. The system is configured to adjust ripening conditions such as temperature, temperature, application of ethylene gas, etc. of a ripening chamber in real-time based on A ripening schedule of the produce. The system generates the ripening schedule based on the target shipping date. The system includes a plurality of sensors configured for receiving information about the growing conditions of the produce, conditions of shipment vehicle, condition and grade of the produce at a warehouse.

The system facilitates preserving the nutritional value of the produce and delivery of the product in optimum condition and thus reduces wastage of the products and financial resources.
