First Flying Sports Car Patented

This company has patented and developed a Flying Sports Car with Folding Wings, which Jay Leno Likes (probably)

Recently, Samson Sky, the maker of the high-performance Switchblade, was granted the patent by the European Union, bringing the number of patents to six for the Oregon company.

The Switchblade is not your typical ride—it’s a three-wheeled car with a sleek body, and an enclosed cockpit with side-by-side seats.

Crafted from composites, its design takes inspiration from Ferrari, making it a head-turner on both land and air. The 26.9 ft wingspan with slotted flaps and a canard surface redefine the skies.

This marvel is not just about flight—it’s equipped with fixed tricycle landing gear and a rear-wheel-driving engine for a smooth ride on the ground.

Truly, making it the first flying spots car.

For ground adventures, the wings neatly fold forward into a protective clamshell case, shielding them from road debris.

Thanks to its unique design, the Switchblade takes off without the need to rotate wings, eliminating complexities. The nose raises 4° for take-off, effortlessly blending aviation and road travel.
