Bend it like Apple. Apple patents a flexible phone

Samsung has a huge lead against Apple when it comes to flexible phones. But Apple seems to be catching up. This week they were granted a patent for a flexible phone.

 

The flexible phone includes a flexible display, a flexible housing and flexible internal components .

Further, flexible displays include flexible display layers, flexible touch-sensitive layers, and flexible display cover layers. The flexible housing includes one or more stable positions.

Similarly, the flexible internal components may include flexible batteries, flexible printed circuits or other flexible components.
